Turvauksed.ee warranty terms.
Products manufactured by Turvauksed.ee are covered by a three-year warranty, provided that installation is carried out by us and the product usage instructions are followed. The warranty period starts when the product is handed over to the customer and is based on the issued invoice or receipt.
Warranty covers:
- Shape stability if longitudinal warping exceeds 4 mm per two metres at the time of installation or 5 mm per two metres three months after installation.
- Durability of paint and lacquer coating on painted and lacquered products.
- Installation errors made by Turvauksed.ee.
- Transport damage if it is recorded at handover/acceptance of the product and transport was ordered from Turvauksed.ee.
Warranty does not cover:
- Defects caused by excessive indoor humidity, water or chemicals, including paint peeling, deformation and mould.
- Natural characteristics of wood, such as colour changes caused by UV light and small knots.
- Normal wear of finishing, hinges, locks and thresholds.
- Damage caused by physical impact or unforeseeable circumstances, including fire, flooding and vandalism.
- Defects caused by building settlement.
- Installation errors if installation was not carried out by Turvauksed.ee or an authorised company.
- Products that have been processed after acceptance, including sawing, drilling, milling or finishing.
- Products to which unsuitable accessories have been attached after handover, or whose surface has been covered with an unsuitable finishing material. If needed, consult the sales representative in advance.
- Products that have not been paid for in full.
- Effects caused by environmental pollution, including soot, acids and similar substances.
If a non-conformity is discovered, it must be reported to us in writing within two weeks. If the claim is unfounded or is not covered by the warranty, the claimant must pay all costs associated with identifying it.
